Back in September, I had the fantastic opportunity to travel to the Marche region of Italy to capture an exceptional wedding celebration. While there, I had hands-down one of the best weeks of my life, drinking in the incredible scenery, the amazing culinary landscape, and the rich history of "lo stivale."
Held in a ridiculously picturesque medieval castle on an ancient hill-top, the week-long celebration saw about 50 friends and family of Curt and Laura make the long journey from Canada to Petritoli, Italy. The group was full of musicians, so there was endless singing and playing around the pool and in the dedicated music room (which came with a grand piano!)
There are so many tremendous stories from this particular wedding - from visits to the local wineries and beaches, to the belly flop competition in the pool, to the wedding day itself - that it's hard to know where to begin.
I think I'll let the photos speak for themselves. Thanks Curt and Laura for including me in this awesomely memorable experience. Congratulazioni!
